WASHINGTON, D.C. – Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will convene the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force at a meeting in the Department’s Sydney Yates Auditorium.
The Task Force consists of representatives of federal, state, local and tribal governments working in cooperation with all interested parties to restore, protect and preserve the Everglades and the South Florida Ecosystem while providing for a sustainable South Florida.
The public is encouraged to attend and an opportunity for public comment will be provided.
